5-7 Yrs PQE Trust & Private Client Solicitor 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Trust & Private Client Solicitor with 5-7 years PQE to join a well-established, forward-thinking firm on the North Shore. The firm is known for delivering exceptional personalised services to its long-standing clients. This role is ideal for someone looking to further develop their expertise in trust structuring, estate planning, and asset protection.

Role Overview:
You will provide strategic advice on succession planning, wealth preservation, and trust structuring. Your clients will range from high-net-worth individuals to families looking to secure their future. The role involves close collaboration with respected partners in a close-knit team. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Succession planning and offering strategic advice to help clients prepare for the future.
  • Structuring and governance of trusts, including trust formation, resettlements, and restructures.
  • Administering trusts efficiently and cost-effectively to protect client assets.
  • Providing expert guidance on Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney to ensure clients' wishes are met.
  • Supporting estate administration, working closely with executors and families to manage estates smoothly and sensitively.
Ideal Candidate:
  • NZ Qualified & admitted Lawyer
  • 5-7 years PQE with a strong focus on trust and private client matters.
  • A proven ability to offer pragmatic, clear, and tailored advice to clients.
  • Experience in handling complex asset structures, succession planning, and estate administration.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive matters with care and discretion.
  • A collaborative approach to working with external advisors to ensure comprehensive client solutions.
