About the roles:
Our client is a leading international business that provides services in the oil, gas and energy sectors. Due to a large transaction in play, they are looking to hire 2 contract lawyers for a period of 3-6 months to assist the in-house legal team where there is potential for it to be extended.

This is a unique role which will allow you to work from anywhere in NZ and your role will see you assisting on due diligence for M&A related matters, carrying out document reviews, liaising with external counsel and the in-house legal team, dealing with information disclosures, providing reports and primarily supporting the legal team based in Singapore and the US. 
This role is based on NZ timezone.

About you:
4+ years commercial legal experience - this could have been gained in-house or in a law firm. M&A experience isn't needed but would be a bonus. 

This might suit you if you are immediately available after a break or interested in a stepping stone in-house legal move with a household brand. Our client is motivated to hire before Christmas and will be actively interviewing.

Rem is circa $125k-$175k FTE, depending on your background and exp.
