Job description
Align your Legal Executive career with a visionary, forward-thinking financial services specialist organisation. This is a newly created role within a fast-paced, agile business experiencing strong growth. You'll report to the Senior Leadership Team and collaborate with internal stakeholders, taking ownership of preparing, overseeing, and processing incoming settlements.
The Role:
As part of this high achieving team, you’ll play a hands on, technical role overseeing the end-to-end settlement process for both borrowers and investors. You'll prepare sale and purchase agreements, loan and mortgage documents, and manage settlement execution. Stepping into a leadership role, you'll mentor a team of two while also handling escalations and working closely with internal departments on credit support, discharges, and recoveries. You’ll also approve transactions, applying your legal expertise and using a well developed risk management and due diligence principles.

This role is well suited to Legal Executives with experience mentoring juniors or legal secretaries. We’re also keen to hear from candidates with a blend of in-house and private practice backgrounds, particularly those with exposure to subdivisions or property development projects.

- 6+ years’ experience as a registered/unregistered Legal Executive within a similar role is essential
- Understanding and knowledge of the regulatory environment and compliance requirements as well as NZ Property Law, terms and methods in relation to conveyancing
- People focused, able to work in a cohesive and collaborative environment, keen to exceed expectations

- $90,000 - $120,000 + KiwiSaver, dependant on expereince
- This is an on-site Monday to Friday role with one day WFH on offer
- Social activities are planned each month for those interested
