About the Role:
Assisting a busy Partner and a small team of authors, you will be their trusted and essential support in this fast-paced and engaging work environment. Each day will bring something new, and your dedication and hard work will be genuinely valued.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Editing and formatting of court documents
- Systematically filing paperwork, scheduling important dates and deadlines as well as liaising with court registrars
- Assisting clients with initial queries, drafting client emails, and completing any required dictation as well as ad hoc administrative tasks
- Diary and email management, including travel arrangements
- Preparing end-of-month billing and statements
- Starting salary of $65,000 - $85,000 + KiwiSaver depending on experience
- Annual salary and performance reviews
- Well-established within their practice field
- A firm that is willing to invest and offer career development in the future
- Previous legal secretary experience within litigation would be advantageous however if you are seeking to transition your experience from property, corporate or another legal sector this will also be considered
- Able to prioritise your workload, being able to work to deadlines will allow you to manage multiple conflicting deadlines at any one time
- Competent touch typist and confident user of Microsoft office suite
- Excellent written and verbal English and communication skills
- A methodical, systematic, and proactive team member will establish you as the backbones of a high-performing and successful team
