Job description
The Role:
We are working with an established organisation looking to hire an intermediate or senior level employment lawyer for its team. As part of the legal team, you'll be mentored to grow your skills and if you have more experience, will be involved in more strategic / project based work as well. The role will see you advising on PG claims, disciplinary investigations, restructuring advice, Holiday Act advice, providing trainings on changes to employment legislation, contract and policy reviews / updates, privacy matters, process improvement and being involved in stakeholder management, both internally and externally. You'll have the opportunity to get hands on experience in mediations and preparing for ERA and Employment Court hearings as they come up as well. This is a business that will value your strategic input and ideas. There is a pathway for progression internally as well.

About You:
- 3+ years solid experience in employment law (if employment law is part of a broader background of experience, that may be of interest too);
- Some experience gained in an employment law firm or specialist team is desired;
- An ability to provide practical as well as legal solutions.
- High standard of written and verbal communication skills.
