We have a unique opportunity for a newly admitted or junior lawyer who has a keen interest in developing their skills as a commercial lawyer. You may be working in a different area of the law but keen to transfer your skills across to this field also. Working within modern CBD offices in Palmy, you'd be working within an organisation that put its people first and where you'll have hands on work but also mentorship to grow your skills further. 

Day to day work may include:

• Commercial contract drafting and negotiations e.g. supply and distribution agreements, licensing agreements, T&Cs, sponsorship agreements etc
• Corporate advisory and governance work e.g. privacy related;
• Company structuring matters;
• Project based work and using your problem solving capabilities.

This is a role that doesn't have overtime, so you can maintain a healthy work/life balance. 

About you: 

• 0-2 years PQE years experience gained in a NZ law firm or in-house legal environment;
• Interest in corporate/commercial law and further developing your career in this space;
• Admitted to the NZ bar or close to admission;
• Some relevant working experience would be highly valued.
