Key Responsibilities:  

• Property Law: Provide expert legal advice to clients on residential and commercial property transactions, including conveyancing, leasing, and property development projects.
• Trusts & Estates: Offer comprehensive legal advice on trusts, estates, and estate planning, ensuring compliance with the Trusts Act 2019. This includes drafting Wills, Memoranda of Wishes, and Enduring Powers of Attorney.
• Relationship Property: Advise clients on separation agreements and contracting out agreements, ensuring their interests are protected during these significant life events.
• Commercial Law: Advise on commercial matters, including contract drafting and negotiation, business structuring, shareholder agreements and compliance.
• Client Engagement: Deliver clear and concise written and oral legal advice, building strong client relationships through exceptional service.
• Business Development: Participate in marketing and business development activities, attending relevant meetings and events to contribute to the firm's growth.
• General Practice: Handle a broad range of legal matters, providing holistic legal services to meet clients' diverse needs.

About You:  

• NZ Qualified & admitted Lawyer with a current practising certificate
• 7+ Years PQE
• You have extensive experience in general practice, focusing on property, trusts, and estate planning.
• You are a confident communicator, able to provide clear, practical advice to clients.
• You are proactive in business development and enjoy building strong client relationships.
• You are ambitious and want to progress to a partnership with a reputable firm.
