The Role:
Reporting to the Senior Property Solicitors and working in a team of fee earners, you will be able to align yourself with a dedicated and driven team. This is a flourishing and productive firm where you will be working with residential clients on general conveyancing matters, large subdivisions, development projects and settlements. Your day-to-day responsibilities will be to:

• Maintain client relationships and act on instructions throughout the property transaction relating to buying, selling, and developing property
• Manage property files for all property transactions from pre-contract to post-settlement inclusive of subdivision files
• Work towards and adhere to key performance and budgets around billable hours
• Assist and support the wider team of Solicitors as and when required

About You:

• 7+ years of experience as a Registered Legal Executive within a similar role is essential
• Knowledge of and experience in trust accounting, unit title searches, and edealings is required, experience in subdivisions, bodies corporate, and multi-unit titles would be beneficial
• Understanding and knowledge of the AML compliance requirements as well as NZ Property Law, terms, and methods in relation to conveyancing
• People focused, able to work in a cohesive and collaborative environment, keen to exceed expectations

To be successful in this role you will be someone who is a confident operator as you will be allowed full autonomy and ownership with client files from instruction through to finalising transactions.
